In 2009, AEG POWERTOOLS conducted a powerful rebranding campaign aimed at changing brand perception. The bright and bold orange color made us look at the company’s products in a new way, gave it a new dynamic image.
The new image of AEG is supported by a significant expansion of the model range. More than 20 new products have been released, including a program of ergonomic 12-volt tools of the Compact series based on Lithium-ion battery technology and powerful 18-volt models capable of coping with any professional task. Models of the new program of 2-3 mode SDS plus perforators attract the attention of the best in the class productivity and exceptionally low level of vibration. For woodworking professionals, AEG POWERTOOLS offers a miter saw and a powerful 2050 watt cutter.
During 2009, about 40 more models were launched on the market, many of them are of considerable interest at least because they are not in the program of other manufacturers and are exclusive.
All of the above is backed by an extended 3-year AEG POWERTOOLS warranty. The updated dynamic image of the company was also reflected in advertising and information materials: a new modern product catalog, the brightest POS-materials, a new concept of product presentation were prepared. Since its inception, AEG POWERTOOLS has focused its efforts on constantly updating the model range, creating new tools. In 1898, the company announced the first portable drill – the first portable power tool. A century later, AEG continues to offer professional users innovative and high-performance tools.
